The November issue of 'In the Community' is now available to download.
"I am learning how to engage with young people and how to communicate effectively.”
Priya Talwar, National Grid graduate and volunteer at Budbrooke Primary School.
This newsletter provides a regular snapshot of what our employees have been doing to make a difference in their local communities and beyond.
In our latest edition we mark Youth Social Action Month and look at the ways that National Grid is inspiring and supporting young people to get actively involved in their communities and make a difference, while at the same time developing vital skills for their future careers.
As we celebrate the first anniversary of the Step Up To Serve campaign, we look at National Grid’s role in inspiring young people to contribute to society, as well as helping young people gain vital skills.
Elsewhere, we take a closer look at National Grid’s partnership with the charities TeachFirst and City Year, and find out about two colleagues who have lent a hand in their local community.
