National Grid Connecting wins top website class at communications awards.

National Grid’s Connecting has been commended by communications professionals after being named a Class Winner at the Institute of Internal Communications (IoIC) Central Awards recently.
Connecting, launched in June 2013, won the category for Best Website / Intranet at the industry event in Leicester.
The award topped off a successful night for National Grid after the company’s Unprecedented commemorative book and app also won awards for Writing, Print Design and Special Publications, as well as the ‘best of the best’ Tom Dawson award.
The project was created to honour the response of National Grid’s employees to the devastating aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, which hit North America in October 2012.
Both Connecting and Unprecedented were produced in partnership with Leamington Spa-based agency 44 Communications.
